How a Travel Company is on Track to Reach $10M in Sales

Andreas is a talented businessman, with innovative ideas on how to operate a profitable travel company that is environmentally sound and makes a difference in the world.
Before 9/11, his company had 11 employees; after 9/11, Manaca consisted of only himself and his partner. His partner then started a new company, United Fairfax Travel, leaving Andreas to run the company alone. Eventually Manaca could not sustain Andreas, and he hired consultants for specific Manaca projects.
Challenge:
To grow Manaca to pre 9/11 levels and beyond, establishing it as THE expert in the field of profitable ecotourism.
To detach himself personally from Manaca and view it objectively as a business entity.
Solution:
Through a series of strategy sessions, weekly calls and execution services, we helped Andreas:
Analyze the issues facing Manaca, strategize how to minimize lost revenue, stabilize the company and determine if Manaca is worth saving, after acknowlegding that Manaca is not financially solvent and up to the latest developments.
Identify personal and company strengths, weaknesses, challenges and opportunities, to see how the personal strengths and weakeness affect the company, and vice versa. The next step was to strenthen the weaknesses and use the strengths as leverage.
Focus on United Fairfax Travel, a profitable business, to grow quickly and eventually bring new business to Manaca.
Create practical tools and implementation systems. Continually repeated exercises became daily living habits for growing the company.
Constantly kept the big picture in mind, to keep a clear focus on priorities. Committed to the necessary action and kept accountability to ensure it happened.
Repeatedly challenged himself to stretch for innovative, out of the box ideas to grow the company in unusual ways.
Results:
United Fairfax Travel is on target to reach $10 million in revenue, a 100% increase year to year.
Manaca is slowly growing again. Investors are approaching the company with assistance, based on its innovative ideas. Andreas hopes to close an investor deal soon.
Andreas is now focused solely on United Fairfax Travel. He can identify, evaluate and prioritize money making deals faster, and make cost decisions more objectively.
