Infographic: Women at Work: Sound Bites and Statistics

Kenan-Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, NC reached out to me to share their new Infographic: Women @ Work: Sound Bites and Statistics from Women Who Lead. Rebecca Lindergren contacted me because she knows I am passionate about women in the workplace and have written on the topic many times. More specifically, I’ve written about women leaving the workforce in droves to start their own businesses, how women are in fact changing the workforce, and also what the transgender experience can tell us about workplace gender roles. I have an infographic of my own depicting the rise of women in the workforce.

The infographic below produced by Kenan-Flagler Business School presents interesting statistics about women starting their own businesses and pursuing higher education in record numbers. Also included are conversation sound bites from women leaders like Arianna Huffington, Sheryl Sandberg, Rachel Sklar, and Sarah Blakely.

There is great information here, so please spread the word!
